Pre-Starter
The digestive system of the bird at hatch has limited ability to digest and absorb nutrients. It is therefore vital to provide a diet that contains highly digestible and available nutrients. Correct doses of phytase, protease and carbohydrase enzymes all play a role in optimizing digestion and the gut environment at this time. Pre starter is used during the 1 to 14 days of age.
Starter
The broiler starter feed is one of the most important diets of broilers and specifically for new, young broiler chicks. Proper nutrition during the starter phase is essential for proper growth and development, which will ultimately affect the overall performance of the flock. The starter feed should provide the maximum quality proteins and energy to support the chicks’ early development. This feed to be given to the birds during 2nd week to 4th week of age.
Finisher
The Broiler Poultry Finisher Feed is the last feed given to broilers at the age of five (5) and six (6) weeks before the sale. The finisher feed provides the nutrients that will sum up the basic requirements of the birds. It contains good percentage of crude protein with high energy to sustain life. Finisher feed should be fed from 28th day until selling in the market.
